These annual plants of disturbed ground, probably taken for granted before modern farming methods threatened their existence, are now appreciated for their beauty and landscape value and diversity as well as positively encouraged as essential source of food for wildlife.

We will have a field trip to the National Trust’s spectacular Pentire Head as well as a presentation about these species, how and where in Cornwall they have been recorded with tips and guidance on how to find and identify them.
