An Introduction to Spider Identification

This workshop aims to introduce the fascinating world of Spiders, how to begin to identify them and how to recognise the species of conservation status that we may find in Cornwall.Local Spider expert Pete Smithers will teach us how to identify Spiders to family level as well as discuss their conservation. We will be spending some time in the field collecting and looking at spiders in their habitat as well as examining them more closely under low power microscope as is essential to identify the majority of them to species level.
