Join us in an exploration of the ponds and river at Breney Common to learn how to identify both the native and non native aquatic plants and other wildlife that can be found in Cornwall’s ponds.We will learn basic recording techniques for freshwater as well as how to recognise what we find and its significance.There will discussion on what makes a good wildlife pond, management techniques and problems with invasive species.Also for all pond dipping enthusiasts there will be a session on catching and identifying freshwater invertebrates in still and running water at least to family level in order to monitor the health of the water surveyed.
