ERCCIS Introduction to ..... Guides

In the next few weeks ERCCIS will be releasing their free to download introduction guides for three species groups.The reptiles (Reptilia); the spiders (Araneae) and the dragonflies and damselflies (Odonata). The guides are an excellent starting place to access the current knowledge of a species in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

ERCCIS has been working with our volunteers to produce a series of introduction guides.The aim of the introduction guides is to help you to start recording and to introduce the species group. Each guide holds basic information on what we currently know about the group, how extensively they are recorded, the current known distribution and where you can get further help.

We hope that these guides will help encourage recording and initiate further work to increase our understanding of the natural history of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, for the benefit of all. The ERCCIS introduction guides are produced with the hard work of our volunteers and are available to download for free from the ERCCIS website.
